Atheists Are Failures

or many centuries, there has been debates between Christians and Atheists on the question, “Is there a God?” Some Atheists spend much time and money trying to prove their theory. However, there is more to this question than debating the beautiful teaching of God in the Bible. The attitude and faith that one has is also very important. For example, the Christian reads, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1), and says, “I believe in God.” The Atheist reads the same verse and say “I don’t believe in God.

            As important as the Bible is to prove the existence of God, there is something else to be considered. The claims of the Bible that so beautifully teach that God exists, and is the Creator of all things, is also backed up by the many evidences in creation. For not only can one read where God said, ”Let there be light, and there was light” (Genesis 1:3), but light is NOW present for all to see! Not only does the Bible speak of the things that were made on the various days of creation, and that they were very good, (Genesis 1:31), but these same things can be seen TODAY!

            All these evidences become even more real when one sees and admires the beauty, pattern, and design of the whole universe. It can be seen that all things from the tiniest to the largest, display intelligence far above the genius of men. In fact, the intelligence in creation is far superior to the intellect of all Atheists.

            Therefore, the Psalmist was correct when he wrote, “The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God’ “   (Psalms 14:1).

            The Atheist observes the existence of all things and is forced to admit (if honest) that there is present superb design and extreme beauty. However, the Atheist is limited in what he sees. The Christian observes the same beauty and design in creation, but all is even more beautiful because he knows the Creator!

            Christians can look into the heavens and say, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork” “The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the peoples see His glory.”(Psalms 19:1; 97:6). Christians can see the seasons and the things that display their own beauty and say, “The Lord God made them all!”  Believing in God the Creator adds a whole new dimension of beauty.

            Therefore, the Atheist who lives and dies without God has failed in this life and the life yet to come.
